I was actually about to pass that BMW... one of the few cars I did pass all weeekend.

Hoosiers. The compound is too soft for a warm weekend. The last couple of laps each session were always slippery on the damned things. On a warm weekend I would have gotten about 3 laps before they went away.

Probably going to work just fine as long as the weekend is not 80 degrees. What size did you get?

ok just one more. This is one of the only times me and mom were on the race track together. I am in the Thunderbird and she is in the Mustang.

I think we should start a fund for Calvin to get his car painted. I'll donate a dollar towards the goal of saving my eyesight as well as others!

I know... It was funny!!!!

Just as a reminder that safety with track events needs to be taken serious. This happened during the weekend we were there at turn 10 in the Novice group. Rumor was the car was borrowed.

The guy in the picture was the instructor. I was in the passenger seat of a Subaru abot 1 turn behind the incident.

And I was sitting on the grid waiting for the next run group to go out.. made an aweful sound.. happened bout 50 feet from where I was at. I know the instructor (pictured), and he's a great guy.. he actually sprained his ankle in the accident, but continued to run that weekend to get his comp license.. that's KA.

They sorta got lose exiting turn 10 (one of the fastest turns on the track) and over corrected and went straight to the inside and hit the tires and concrete wall head on.
