I've looked all throughout the forums and done a few searches as well,

who are all the moderators for each section?
is there anyway we can get a sticky that lists those who moderate and what sections they are moderators for? for those of us that would like to contact a moderator concerning any particular issue the only people that I seem to find that are actually moderators is

Just as Carter mentioned you can check the moderators user groups by clicking on this section. You can also access this information by clicking right above the whose online information module "View Forum Leaders" LINK.

oh, with all the name changes, who are the mods now and what not?

GIO, were you ever another name?

and i've guessed that futureprospect turned into jkim?

I am the one and only "GIO" never had a name change.

Whats the difference between a mod, global mod, and an admin?

Whats the difference between a mod, global mod, and an admin?
The hierarchy from high to low is this: Admin, Global Mod, Mod.

Mod: can close threads and ban in specified forums only. For example, Crate can close threads or ban in 4x4 (where he's a mod), but not in another forum like say, 757.

Global mod: can close threads and ban in all forums.

Admin: all privileges, has more access to userinfo, can edit actual forums.

so if a mod bans you from 4x4 are you banned from the rest of the site?

so if a mod bans you from 4x4 are you banned from the rest of the site? soulDistortion was slightly incorrect in his descriptions of what the different usergroups can do as far as banning is concerned.

A Moderator can only do things (edit, move, delete, etc) with threads for in their respective forums while a Global Moderator can do this for the entire forum. Both of them can ban users. The effect from getting banned is the same no matter who placed it.
