View Full Version : Where to resurface flywheel?

Where can i take my flywheel to get resurfaced. Id just get a new one but its already lightened and cost a little more so ill keep it. Someplace that is known for good work also.

Tidewater Machine Shop. ask for craig. Abacus is a bit more expensive, although i like those guys. NAPA down at the oceanfront can do them. and there's also Steve's machine shop.

apple machine shop on 17 in yorktown, cheep only like $30 and its usually dont in a day

im assuming you mean bad not "ad" I guess ill try that tidewater machine shop. Where are they at?

are you changing the clutch yourself? if so let em know i'll help

just make sure the clutch you are using says it is alright to use a resurracfed flywheel there are some that dont. When you day lightened do you mean an alum with a steel insert ring thats what I have and the replacemnet ring is typically 40 bucks.

nah its a lightend stock fly wheel, and yes it will work with the clutch i got. I am also gonna be putting it in myself

naw man apple is a good place, just make sure you wright your name on the flywheel or whatever you take there cause they can mix it with some one else part.
