sent messages not saving

Ok. i have been having this problem for about 4 months. it doesnt save any of my outgoin messages. I have looked over all the user options. Is this a common problem? how could i fix this?

Strange cause i still have all mine from oct sept aug..ect. Maybe i'm just lucky :)
