Im thinkin bout frankinsteinin my motor and i was hoping to see if anyone out there could give me some advice on what to do to make it go faster and im not talkin bout my ls motor no im talkin bout my H23 motor i wanna drop a H22 head onto it i wanna know if anyone here knows anything bout that frankinstein so someone please talk to me bout it tell me if its a good way to go or not and i also wanna know is there any possible way to put a b16 on a h22 block my friend says it would make compression about 14.5:1 and well i dont dont believe him i dont even think u can make that head fit that block thanks later

Well as far as the b16 head going on an h23 block...there is no way. Putting the h22 head on the h23 block; I haven't heard of it being done a whole lot because h22 aren't that expensive to just buy i'm guessing. I'd assume it entails most of the same as an ls/vtec or b20/vtec would. Tapping and welding oil lines and everything.

i know that only one place has been succesful in doing this frankinstien. and thats abacus racing. an that motor is still sittin at there shop because the guy still cant afford to pay for it.

i dunno ive read of a couple people doing this conversion. if it costed THAT much, im guessing people would just go with a full h22 swap.

ya and jus bore out the block but i dunno anything that didnt have vtec to begin with, it always seems to get more when u giv it vtec
