Due to recent complaints about flakers, this thread has been created so that people can find out how reliable a person is to sell to, or buy from. People who have made recent transactions can post here about how good or bad things went. In order for this to be successful you must follow these rules.

1. One post per person, per transaction. Each person can create one post that has the information about what was bought and sold, and their opinions about the person they dealt with. All posts must be done in a professional way that is as descriptive, direct, and to the point. This is not a thread for flaming or slander, only to state whether you had a good, bad, or neutral experience, and why.

2. Only people that personally made the transaction should post. No he said she said posts about someone.

3. Any posts that do not have specific information about a specific situation will be deleted immediately.

4. If you want to find out about a certain person, post their name to see if anyone has delt with them before.

If these rules are followed, this thread will be very helpful to those looking to buy and sell. These rules will be enforced very strictly, so keep them in mind. Thanks.

Is it just me or are thier as many bullshitters as thier are members. For example. "Slowdippin" Pmed me about buying my ITR Pistons. He gave me a Phone # to call him. When i called him it wasnt even him who picked up. It was one of his friends who was in a different car. The dude in the car told "Slowdippin" to call me. He called me and said he was interested in my pistons and that he will call me friday when he gets paid so he can buy the Pistons off of me. So i was like ok cool. he calls me 2 days later i think on a tuesday or wednsday asking if i know where to get rods bearing. At this time i felt that he was seriously interested and didnt forget about buying the pistons. come friday no phone call. i was cool. come saturday no phone. at this point i know he's not going to buy the pistons. i PM him on the board and i get no response. He has posted after i sent him a PM so i know he has read my PM. i PM him again when he is signed on and get no response.

This is the Type of shit that pisses me off to the limit seriously. I dont know if any of you go through this but i have had many things for sale on this Forum and not one person has bought anything from me. Everything i sell is sold on HT. Their are too many kids on this board fucking around saying they are interested and then they just bullshit thier way out.

Their are nothing but fucking Kids on this Board. The age limit should be at least 18 years of age to even become a member in my opinion.

First of all, being that I was there sitting during your so called conversation with Gold Eg I know what went down. I listened to the guy who you spoke to who WAS NOT GOLD EG since he wasn't even home at the time, he was out getting my F*&^ing dinner after I got off work around 1:00a.m. The guy sitting next to me loves to talk to females even if it is for friendly conversation. My friends and I were all sitting there laughing at him trying to mack on you because that is so like him. I did hear him say that he would come to meet you and then when he found out that you lived in Lynchburg he asked you if you would be willing to meet halfway. He was not talking car parts!!! He was no part of this deal so any information relayed from him should be considered suspect! The only person who can provide you with the details of your shipping would have been Gold Eg as he is the one who shipped it out, I don't even know the details and I live with him.
Secondly, I found it absolutely rude and tacky that after the person you spoke with TOLD YOU SPECIFICALLY NOT TO CALL BACK SINCE IT WAS 2:00 IN THE MORNING AND THAT WOULD BE VERY RUDE, you proceeded to call my house more than once past 2:30 in the morning!!!! I do work and I was awoken twice with your calls and I knew it was you so in case you were wondering why no one answered, it was because I knew that you were told NOT to call and you did it anyway as to say "I could care less if they are sleeping even though it is almost 3am!"
I can speak freely for Gold Eg and he has done a ton of business in this area and with shipping parts out nationwide. Gold Eg has had the unfortunate experience before of purchasing something online and not receiving it from someone so he is not going to do that to anyone because he knows how it feels. I am not saying that he is perfect in any way but what I am saying is that he stays very busy working on cars and working in his office and with no computer in our house, it is sometimes hard to stay in touch with people. He also has no cell phone so getting in touch with him is a difficult process.
I really appreciate you putting a bad name out there since you have done so much business with him and he took your money and didn't send you your part...right?

P.S.: There is no need for you to EVER call my house again unless it is to apologize of course, but I won't be waiting for that call because anyone who would call someone's house that late obviously has no concept of common courtesy!

Fuzion sold me a 99 ls motor swap told me mileage(45k). I've since dropped it in and ran inot a shit load of problems. I took it to the dealership, they ended up running the serial numbers and found out that it was actually a 96 and do not know the mileage on it. So for all I know the motor could have 60k or 160k on it. But I got fucked. This man is from the NOVA area and you've been warned. Do not buy shit from this guy. His name on the boards is Fuzion. One set was 50 dollars and the other was 150. the set he first sold me for my friend was a pair of fully powered ctr mirrors but no relay and no switch. That was fine, but the second set he sold to me is manual folding powered mirror set. I bought a distributor from him a MONTH AND A HALF ago which does not work at all. He said it was a vtec obd1 distributor that worked fine. I brought it home and took the cap off and learned it was a OBD-0 distributor with JUST 1 obd 1 gray plug, and the crank angle sensor wires had no plug on them at all. So I figured it still worked and tried it out, even added a plug for the crank angle sensor because it was just stray wires sitting under the dist cap. Plugged it in, tried it out, nothing, no spark. I even had a technician from honda change out a known working coil and ignitor and still no go. The i borrowed a known working distributor and the car started up fine. He's been avoiding me, and telling me to chill out when I try to get money back, or even SOME money back. And it is only $75! I need money real bad because i got in a little wreck and this guy has been holding out on my money for as long as my car has been running period.

i bought the 2001 s10 with the air bags set up.....it all looked and rode fine didnt notice anything wrong with it when i checked it out. so i buy it on the way up to reston i start hearing this clicking sound coming from my redifferential area when i slow down...its my rear U-joint....i fill the gas tank the next evening, theres a huge hole in it and it is flowing gas out of it...i call him and tell him his responce was and i quote " sorry bro shit happens" and he didnt just say it once... he said it twice. once to me on the phone and once on my voice mail....which i still have saved. so he wasnt willing to do anything so my parents hire an attorny and that gets him moving.. oh yeah he was only willing to give me $8000 for my truck, the same truck i bought from him for $12000. So my mom feels the need to get involved and calls the owner and tells him everything and he still wont take the truck back but he does finally trade it out for a 2002 f150.....but that whole place is really shady i will not be going back there and i will be spreading the word about them. maybe an add in the fredericksburg

Express auto in fredericksburg off of rt 1. Horrible... Do not take vehicle there. not even for them to spray tire shine for you. I purchased a 9006 HID kit from D_Eclipse9916 on 9-10-05. He wanted $200, but sold them to me for 177.
We were supposed to meet on a Friday night, but he said something came up, no biggie. Saturday morning
around 11 or so, we meet in Fairfax at the Honda dealership. I pay him his money, and we both leave. Not even
20 minutes into installing these, i noticed the bulbs are not in any kind of container, and we all know how
sensitive hid bulbs can be, so i installed and tested this kit right away. Also note i am a MECP certified 12volt installer,
and i have been installing everything from engines, to radios for more than 14 years, 12 professionaly. So after
the last wire, i flick the light switch on, and the lights come right on, great right. Well after 10 seconds or so,
the passenger side goes out. And i had to find this out at night. So while driving, i turn the lights off and then
back on to hopefully reignite the bulb. No such luck. So i pull over and fiddle with the lights. I sit inside the car,
and turn them off, and try to turn them back on. Now both lights are nonresponsive, and i am bascially alone in the dark
with no light. Luckily i had the factory bulbs still with me, and put them in, and take the others out and put them back into
the case i had.

When i got home, i pm'ed D_Eclipse9916, and let him know about the situation right away, and waited a day for his responce.
I got his pm saying basically, its ok, tell him what the deal is, and hell pay for anything i needed to get the hids up and running.
I told him i think it was the ballasts, and i needed a new one. So after this i went back outside and rewired all the wiring, and made
sure everything looked and worked proper.

Turns out on the of the bulbs had a hairline crack at the base of the bulb. This is common on hids, and thats why the do whats called a
"rebase". Ok, so then i told him i needed a bulb, but the most lilely come in a pair. I went shopping online, and gave him multiple links
to very cheap bulbs that would work for me, and i sent them to him.

I got a message back saying, oh well dude, my friend said they were working when he took them off his car. So i switched the bulbs
with the ballasts, and still bad bulb. So then i just double checked the other set of ballasts and bulbs. I waited for 9 minutes before the other one went out.
And then when i turned it off, and turned it back on, no dice. It wouldnt even come back on untill i took full power off of it, and regave it power. Then it would
cut off around 8-10 minutes.

So this set was very much nonfunctional when i got it, and now D_Eclipse9916 is saying pretty much no dice, and im basically fucked. I dont think this is very fair, has
anyone ever heard of "the cutomer is always right"? Well this is my side, i am sure he has the same story, and i am hopeing he will come forward and give me a full refund.
This deal was total shit, i wasted many hours of trying to meet with him, finally meeting, installing, rewiring, and money.

Bottom line, i want my money back like you said you would do D_Eclipse9916.
I can provide everyone all pms both sent and received.

I will forget and forgive and remove this post as soon as i get a refund.

back when i was looking for a daily driver, i traded a b20 longblock for his civic coupe (which didnt run, was missing an axle, ecu, and and none of the interior was bolted down.) The body was all messed up and needed many parts to make right. He agreed to give me an axle when i got up to pick up the car. Well when i get up there, he says "oh, let me have your address and i will send you the axle on tuesday." I wasnt happy, but i wasnt about to turn around and drive back home another 4 hours with nothing to show for it. i gave him the benefit of the doubt.
