They definitely have plenty of money over there. Bahrain was the first place, and so far, the only place where I've seen an R33 Skyline in person, or any Skyline for that matter.

I went to school with the ambassador's son, and I don't quite remember why the country was so rich. I think it had to do with all commercial property belonging to the government. Like if you wanted to start a business you owed the government at least 10% of profits.

That's nothing. those cars are a dime a dozen. Hell, half the taxi cabs are BMW's.
Bahrain is not an oil country. it's the banking and Las Vegas country of the middle east. When I was there, I live just 5 blocks from where those pictures where taken. And with the way things are going...I'll be back there again soon.
