yup, i'm the new guy on the board. i'm a 4th year at tech and i drive a red '96 240sx (nissan power!!!!) with *cough* steelies. can't miss me, haha. so yeah. hi everyone.

welcome man. There are a few "red" 240s out there. Well some of them are more "rainbow" colored than others. Any mods to the car yet? LoL, love the steelie reference (if that was what it was).

yea, i've actually seen a few red 240's, altho noone rocks steelies (no hubcaps, hehe). and yea, i pass by jeff taylor's "rainbow" red s14 everyday on my way to class, haha. i live a couple buildings down from his place.

rhombus - black s13. hm.. well i've seen plenty of s13's around, so i might've seen yours, haha. fastback or coupe? anything that would help me distinguish it? thanx for the compliment :)


as for mods, there isn't really much. i got sportlines and tokico blues. also just got my hks hiper, which is just begging to get put on, haha.

I have sportlines and blues up front (got to drop the 4x4 offroad 240 look)
Mine is a coupe and is riding on 17" DV-8s. Stock Exhaust. I park at jeffs alot. There are some pics of the outside of my car on my www page. No pics of the SR swap yet though.

yeah yeah, i think i've seen your car around, rhombus. i walk by jeff's place once in a while and see your car there sometimes. along with a few other 240's. looks like we got a mini-silvia community here at oakbridge, haha.

hey ukann - this is nick - the other s14 (black) in oakbridge that parks in the same lot as jeffs. You should go out with us on rainy nights. Its a regular event for jeff and I now, when it rains. All of blacksburg (roads and parking lots) becomes our little koguchi territory with slick asphalt. :)

Where at? I was at 7-6 till aroudn 10, then I left and went to the movies with some friends. It's kinda hard to miss me, I drive a red gsx with a clear center tail section (although I think I may change that) and my liscense plate is 4N MUSCL

Yeah, I was gonna tell you abuot that, please remove that clear piece, it's the only thing on your car I disprove of; kinda like the wing I had on mine you didn't like ;)

Yea, the only reason I have it on there is because back home I have a friend with a red 95 gsx that looks just like mine almost (minus any aftermarket stuff outside) and he lived in my neighborhood, so I figured I needed something to distinguish myself from him. Ironically I found out last night he got a DUI at UVA visiting dave from these forums, so it looks like I will no longer need the center tail at all :). I almost put it on today since the weather was so nice, tommorrow it should be on.

going back to the stock centerpiece chris? it'll look much nicer. you got the plate to distinguish. i still can't believe last night, that was so fucked up. hopefully he wil get off reletively easy.. damn.. every time i think about that shit and what jon's gonna have to go through i get more pissed at myself for letting him do that. even though it was just down the street. definitely unexpected... damn.. at least i didn't get nailed with anything and was allowed to walk home.

Hopefully no one who gets a DUI/DWI will get off easily! I don't mean to start shit with people who may have gotten them before, but I don't want to die because one of you guys decides it's a good idea to go driving when you obviously aren't sober! I'm sure most other people anywhere would agree they don't want to die because of some person's horrible judgement.

Yea, but in John's case I believe he was just quickly moving his car an extremely short distance down the road so he wouldnt get a ticket, he wasnt just joy riding. But yes I have to totally agree with you that driving while drunk is the absolute stupidest thing you can do with a car, and I'm sure we can (and he already has) thought of about 100 things he could have done differently to avoid placing himself in that situation. Point being it was his fault by far, but hopefully he wont get as harsh a sentence as someone who was planning on actually driving around more than just 50 feet.

Anyway, just took off the clear tail section, I'll probably put it up for sale on ebay I guess. I'm about to head to the junkyard to see if I can find a new spoiler brake light as well as these pieces that go on the back of the side mirrors as some of the clips on mine have broken allowing my tweeter to jiggle some. Later today I think I'll probably pull apart my doors and fix this window rattle that plagues 2g DSM's and that should virtually make my doors as quiet as a coffin. Its cloudy, but I love the fact that I'm not wearing a jacket and feel comfortable.
