I'm talking about the cameras in Fairfax, some in Sterling and Herndon. Did the ticket come with a picture?

Pictures just from running red lights? I have a friend that got one, so obviously it isnt that they are GOING to happen, they already do. Fredericksburg has a few lights with cameras. They give you a pic, the ticket, and let you know exactly how long after the red light you went through ie: 2.59 seconds. Really retarded IMO.

Picture tickets are so easy to beat its great. How does one prove it was even you in the car? Our law system says you have to be proven guilty right? so how would they prove it wasnt a babysitter or thief on a joy ride that ran the light in YOUR car while you were overseas or out of state etc? Sounds cheap, but it is possible.

you could attempt to challenge it in court, but 99% of the time, it was the car owner in the car that ran the light, and most people aren't going to waste money or time on a lawyer to fight a $50 ticket.
