thanks guys i asked why the bike had a diffrent front fairing than the original one and he said it had fallin in the garage and hit the dryer...lol, hence the new paint job too. He said it runs strong and has recently had a valve job done too. I know what to look for tho ;) so we'll see saturday

i don't know the whole story but does your bike have a manual choke? mine did and it took me about 20 minutes to figure out why it wouldn't start!

Yeah its a manual choke and I had it pulled while trying to start it. Seems like no fire though. I had to knock a wre loos or something during transport. It ran fine when I picked it up :wtf:

look right next to your grip, there should be a small lever that you can push up or pull back down twards you make sure thats in the right place. all that is is a choke adjustment. but good luck man

I test rode it in a parking lot (not much fun there) but rode it around a little when I got home, and hot damn I never remember my old 600 being that tourqey. Coming around the corner of my street in second, I hit the throttle and to my suprise, front wheel right into the air, only about 1 foot tho, still scared the shit out of me:D non the less im happy as hell with the bike. Even gave my wife a ride and she kinda sees what all the hype is about now too.

Thanks man but I only have the right side controls. My choke lever is a piece of wire sticking out the side with a ring on it :p . Well it ended up being the plugs. See my post for update. Have fun with the bike man. :D
