This cop reacted to a report he heard that there were criminals leaving the scene of a robbery, pulled the car, and treated the suspects with extreme caution, from the statement about the flashlight, I gather that it was dark out. He wasn't familiar with the dog, and it was coming towards him in the dark while he was under the impression that the owner was a dangerous suspect. I probably would have shot the dog to. It's a dog. If he felt he was in danger, he had every right to put it down.

You know what my dad always said about cops, "Son, keep going to school or you might end up being a cop." He has escaped 3 cops in the past, basically because they were stupid, He was going like 20 over the speed limit and the cops were driving the opposite way, they turned on their lights the moment they sighted him.
