welcome!

hampton roads consists of two areas of land: the peninsula and the southside. the peninsula is home to the cities/towns of yorktown, williamsburg, hampton, newport news (aka bad news), and poquoson. the southside consists of va beach, norfolk, smithfield, chesapeake, portsmouth (aka p-town). i'm sure ive left something out lol, but that is what it consists of mainly. several malls around in va beach/chesapeakse (pembroke and lynhaven are the ones i can think of). norfolk has the mccarthur center mall (3 floors - huge!). over here on the peninsula, we have patrick henry mall (newport news) and coliseum mall (hampton). many historical sites, especially on the peninsula (boring, but every person in hampton roads has been to them all at least once). the outer banks of north carolina.... lotta stuff besides beaches there

there's quite a bit to do in hampton roads so... browse www.hamptonroads.com to find stuff to do

shit hole.. thanks.. for the welcome.
thing is i believe that you get bored over time in anyplace that you live... unless its mexico where the girls all have huge boobs and great asses and love to fuck the hell out of you... but anyway...

:p

i got real tired of cali myself living there for 22 years.. but the biggest thing was the half million dollar homes in the ghetto... i mean fuck.. and to live somewhere where you dont get shot its the full mill... it just makes no sense to me and i felt id never get ahead...

i moved here cause one its a different place to learn and smack in the middle of a new coast so i can drive both ways and check it all out like how i did on west coast.. and you have great beachfront here as i understand. im sorry this place isnt all that you want it to be but its where ill lay me head for now and actually be able to purchase a home... ill try it out and we will see what happens...
i invite all of you that if your bored to explore other directions if you have that option.. i felt that its the only true way that ill find that place i want to settle.. again thanks for the welcome
OuTLaW STaR i hope one day you will find that place to settle also.... but san francisco is beautiful... but then again i understand so is this place in the summer.

NYC is great. dont go but 3-4 times a yr. 8hr drive at the max. NJ turnpike is the worst. if you havent been to NYC, i suggest going.

Trying to race you? In the snow? WTF was he/she/it thinking? Yeah, thats one thing too, here, some people just have no brain and dont know how to drive. Like the lady that pulled out in front of my brother.. lol...

dx...I'll be your friend..*grins*..just look for the Celica, not the nice one, the ice blue/silver pos one, most likely to be beside the cool looking Mustangs, a silver Firebird, or a white 5.0. Yeah, the one with the dent in the side door and all the decals, thats me. Everyone normally posts in other boards about what times we go to PTown (portsmouth) and stuff, if you need directions, ask, alot of people here will give you directions (ChaHonda's one, he's cool, he helped me out when I got lost). Welcome to VA!

How close are you from San Bernandino, I have (had) a bf from there :D

I lived in NYC for 6 months...I drove up there from Richmond where I lived when I moved...the second I got there, I drove my car back down and took the train up. NO WAY was I taking my car anywhere near it. Not that I can't drive the streets, it's just I'd rather not have to worry about leaving my car in NJ as I had an apartment in midtown Manhattan.

If you are going to just Manhattan I suggest flying or taking the train. www.airtran.com has AWESOME deals if you book about 2 weeks or more in advance. I flew up there once for about $100 once. Amtrak is a decent train trip. It is slow as hell until DC because of train speed limits in VA. It will take you about 6 hours, and you get to go through the hearts of many cities including Richmond, DC, Baltimore, Philly, Newark, Wilmington Delaware. The view when you actually get close to Manhattan isn't that impressive. NJ is one of the worst looking cities in the world where the train passes through. Before 9/11 you could see the WTC very good out the right hand side of the train after the Newark stop. After that it's all underground and you don't egt to see any of the city until you exit the train get your luggage and walk out Penn Station/Madison Square Gardens and onto 7th Avenue. About 10 blocks south of Times Square.

Ok wow, I rambled on, but I love NYC, and living there for those 6 months(even though I unfortunately got to see the towers fall) was the BEST 6 months of my life, I vow to live there again.

Having your car up there will not make you comfortable trust me. There are plenty of cabs. What part of the city will you be in.

I like the laid back life here..being a SanDiego Native I've come to like this place called VA. I even opened up a shop here called AUTOSOLUTION. hmmm..the beach is great in the summer time! I also do alot of promotions for alot of the beach clubs, and you made it just in time for SUPERTUNERNIGHT VA biggest SPORTCOMPACT lifestyle show. There is alot of things to do other than practice drifts in the snow in the 240..lol..or breaking people of in the 32psi SI..lol..other than that..hope you like your stay so far..for any car needs call us AUTOSOLUTION 757-306-8686 ask for chris. pc!

- Jekyll and Hyde in Greenwich Village = the best and funnest bar you can goto. Even if you go at night, it is so dark in there you have to let your eyes adjust...weird, you'll see what I'm talking about.

- Dinner(If you don't mind spending $50 - $80 a plate) The View restaurant on top of the Marriot Marquis in Times Square. It is a revolving restaurant that make a complete circle every 45minutes. So you always have a different view.

- Dinner(more quiet and less expensive) Chez Louis, right across the street from Radio City Music Hall

- Romance - Brooklyn Pier One (take a cab) It's an AWESOME view of all of lower Manhattan from Brooklyn. Coming To America has a few scenes filmed there, and Cruel Intentions 2 also, those are from the top of my head.

If I think of anymore I'll let you know.

another thing about NYC is that damn near everyone had little rubber bumpers on the four corners of their cars... if that tells you anything. plus potholes galore. ive only been to a few restaurants there and each one had the worst service ive ever experienced in my life. cept one in Lil Italy. but the restaurants were only $25 plate restaurants. food was great at all of them though.
if you feel like gettin up kinda early in the morn you can catch the morning show (i believe). i saw Shakira once:D

Whew, man I havent been on here in a long azz time....hvent been to Ptown either.....Got pulled for driving on a suspended license, anyone know what I'm looking at when I go to Court on the 2nd of June, I have only 1 pnt on my license....but, I cussed out the cop, so you think I'm facin jail time? *sighs* Hopefully when I get insurance and tags back on that piece of shit I call a car, I'll be back at the hangout. And with compoany this time too.. ;)...

Socket, if you dun tell, I wont tell;)
DX...PM me, with what you wanna know, and once i get my stuff up and running, we'll see if I cant meet up with you and you, me, my bro, my friends, and my roomate's best friends cant roll up there together or something. But, wont be able to have anyone ride in the car with me, the only seat I have in it is the driver's seat, and everythings gone. The interior has been gutted, which I wouldnt have done if I'd known my car was gonna sit in a shop lot and promises were'nt gonna be kept.

And, a little news update, the Celica's still dented, because some fuckhead shop of Jefferson had my car for over a month and never did the work he said he was gonna do, after I worked for him in exchange for it. I won't mention names, but I will tell people about it if they ask. And the ****er still has my cd player. If anyone has an amp for sale, let me know. Hope to have everything runnign soon.

By the way, I got word form a friend of mien on here that someone is trying to steal my carclub name. If anyone knows who this di** is, please inform him that Team Dangerous Intentions is something that has been established since 99. He wants my name, he's gonna face my carclub for it. And I dont mean a street race.
