Gear is a little of center in picture but you can see in order to time it because of the decking and milling had to advance about 2 degrees!!
Thats ok cause I believe top end tuning will require retarding the cam!?

Just because they have a valve, when you shut your car off it keeps the oil in the filter so i doesnt have to recirulate the oil back through it again.
and about your motor...
aww...the little sohc that could ;)

I've been using Fram for a while.. whats a good oil filter to use? K&N? kinda expensive for a oil filter...
man its all in preference, sort of like people who own imports talk shit about domestics and vise versa. Fram is good, use what you have had your best experience with. Dont like a few people change your ways

Well I mean I haven't actually read reviews on a oil filter, for all i know Fram could be coming apart and stickin inside my engine.. just wonderin what anyone thinks could be better.

i thought fram wasn't to be used because it was too good of a filter as in it blocked everything even some oil. But that is second hand info...

the thing with hondas is, there arent many aftermarket parts that will last as long as the real deal. filters, radiators, anything. this might have already been said, but i read something on page 2 that made me want to say this, so i said it.

what im starting to learn about stock parts is: no problems, lasts longer and runs better...imo
the japanese spent alot of man power and time coming up with the perfect combination of parts.....it seemed to work!! if only they'd let us have the real cars over here now :( sylvia, soarer, skyline, and the SIR
