Actually the Tahoe has had nothing done to it! I guess you might not have been following the whole WithoutRegret Saga....

She claimed to have a Celica that ran between 12 & 14 seconds at the track and was around 220 some HP. I called her BS, she called me out, she continued to run her mouth in front of a bunch of people and I finally asked her if she really wanted some of my Slobra......well the outcome was obvious.

She said to bring my "other car" which I did.....however she didn't
show..........

I figure the Tahoe weighs a couple million pounds, has about 285 HP so I figure I probably run ooohh......a 20 1/4 mile....right on par with her car......

Hey maybe she'll beat me and can than brag that she "KILLED" a stock Tahoe.... (It's all in fun)

sorry mr. unclebenz. I must've misread the thread. I thought you smoked this celica with the Tahoe. I love seeing trucks and S.U.V.'s smoke cocky cars. i had visions of a Tahoe smoking a celica and it made my heart flutter. Guess i was wrong. Oh well. (sees tahoe burning out while celica stalls out.) wishful thinking...

Yeah, Couldnt find the link. You really should read up, Benz, I posted in another board that I was sick as a dog Fri Night, otherwise I'd have showed. Am still sick, you want proof, call Brian. He knows how bad I was. Anyways, Someone wanted me to race the Beast the other night, said it would be a good match up, since the Beast is an Auto like mine. I said screw that, didn't really feel like it. I did race a Durango and stomped his ass on Big Bethel the other night, busted him bad, and got a good laugh out of it. Then, was coming off the start to drop it from Neutral into drive, and the damn thing stalled out the other night coming back from the mall. I guess I'll have to see whats up with it. LOL..you know Rico's girl threatened to come up to work the other day and beat my ass because she thinks I was serious about the comments I made on the other board? LOL. You gotta see the conversation, i had no clue who the hell she was, and the next thing I know, shes telling me shes not white and shes gonna get "straight n**g*erish on my ass". I saved the convo, and pasted most of it to someone else, they laughed as hard as I did. Someone needs to give that girl a sense of humor, and tell her to not be so insecure, I have no intentions of taking her man, and never had, I just wanted to see how pissed off she would get. Looks like it worked!

Nope. Just to burnout...lol. Last I checked, being Female doesnt make me stupid. And Growley, like I said, thats how it was in NC, most companies wanted you to have a stereo and rims before they would sponsor you. At least it was for MTX, Meguiars (spelling, its 1 am, forgive me), ToyoTires, and a few others. Things here might be diff, my bro seems to know more about that than I do, he blew 20 bucks of my money and claimed he was signing up for possible sponsors. If anyone knows if there's any sort of "fee" for that, let me know, so I can kick him in his ass and make him give me my cash back. Or at least find out where he blew it. And sorry it took me so long to answer, been working alot lately and havent had the time. You can see by the time on this one I don't get on till late. See you guys in PTown this weekend.

Its pretty sad you guys thought it was worthy of cracking jokes that a Mustang with oh, say, 400 + hp beat mine, which has, at most, 208. Plus, his is a stick. And Heat, I got shyt to back up alot of stuff that says you guys make a mockery out of some "too slow" people I know. Thats why I said mine was 13 secs. How you stall an Automatic, someone let me know, becasue i've pretty much never heard of that being done. I sat there for a while, debating weather to go back over there or leave. And I didnt do anything any diff than those two stangs did the other night, flying through the parking lot doing 90 mph. And personally, heat, i could care less what my car "pales" to. It'll be "good enough" by standard in a few months, as soon as I get extra money. Will probably never be "good enough" by you guys standards, you pretty much set them so high and nobody else is ever good enough. Oh well, life's a bitch, then you marry one. I'm happy with the shyt I have, and personally I don't care what other people think, it has 4 wheels, runs like a charm, and gets me from point a to point b in a respectable amount of time. That's pretty much all I care about. Set your "standards and comparisons" as high as you want, one of these days my POS is gonna make someone look VERY bad.

There's three classifications when you race someone.

1. Cars that will completely fuck you up 3 gears above you with the pedal barely pushed. <- me racing, say, a z28.

2. Cars that you'll fly by. <- me racing a neon.

3. Cars that the race is decided by the driver. Apparently you've never experienced one of these, because, at least in my opinon, having a GT fly by me isnt "fun". It's a waste of time.
Instead I enjoy having a GSR or Prelude right next to me the entire race, and the only conditions that determine who will win being driver error, or experience.

I have no clue what your Celica compares to, I wouldnt race it, but I suggest you find another Celica just like yours and run him/her, then you'll realize that the "fun" is in the challenge, not in the predetermined win/loss.

There is a median, but unfortunately I doubt many cars find your car a challenge.

Goodluck with whatever your plans for it are.

Its almost there. I fixed the coolant leak, strarted some of the ignition stuff, Im waiting on my wires and then Ill see how it is. I think I might be getting some detonation because of the way its bogging. I think that its just the ignition tho... we'll see.
