I'd rather go to Summit Point for that kind of money. You even get an instructor to ride with you if you want to.

Check out their web page for more information..

I think the cost is $200. I've heard nothing but good things about this school. I'm not sure if I'm going to go yet. I think I probobly will.

I have done their Stage 1 & 2 schools. It is definately money well spent, regardless of what site they hold it on.

...man... $200 for auto-x lessons.... man, I don't know?

I would gladly pay $300-$400 for a weekend long road race lessons like I did last March 29,30 at VIR with the Washington Mazda Club.

Well I'm think my Dad and I are going to do it. I know that I will be boing more AutoXing than track days. So If I can be taught something to go faster I'm with Beno should be $ well spent.

I can't imagine how much you would learn in 2 days of constant autocrossing.

The Evolution schools are intended to take someone from a local hot shoe to being in the game at the national championships. Everyone I know who has gone to one has said that it was worth twice what it costs. I have never been to one, but I know the people who put the events on and there is really not many people in the country that are better than they are. I will say that I saw amazing improvement in Beno (just an example that comes to mind) after he went to the schools.

Where is this driving school? I want to attend a driving school, but do not know of any near Lynchburg or know of any in VA. What are some good schools that are fairly priced?

roadracer, are you saying they are not for the beginner? Or are you saying that the school is so good it can even improve a very skilled driver?

Edit: cool avatar ;)

The courses are pretty much for anyone. No specific skill level.

Saturday is the Phase 1 class, Sunday is Phase 2.

In Aug, the Phase 3 class will be run.

According to Greg, it's $200 per class, $350 if you get 2, and $500 for all 3.

I read an email from the people putting on the evolution schools. They said that because of travel problems, they are scheduling a large number of schools, but they will cancel any that do not fill up or become nearly full. I guess that means if you want to do one of these, register early, don't wait until the last minute as it might cause the school to be canceled.
