seeing as i don't know much about bullet proof vests and i have no need for it i am looking to see what i can get for it. i looked online and i see they go for up to $900+ for similar vests.

yeah, fyi, bulletproof vest usually get replaced by police departments between 4-5 years. atleast, they should. i used to sell body armor for a company

up til a couple years ago there were limitations to who could own one but now anybody can own one and you can wear it walking down the street (i've talked with police veterans with 20+ years experience).... shit you can buy them on ebay.... so don't be scared to make an offer... this specific vest will withstand a 44 mag and a 9mm
