So let's get a fishing thread started.

Personally i fish the western central areas, upper james, some of lake annah, many-many private ponds. I swear by yamamoto senkos, berkly gulps!, zoom chartreuse tail tipped worms, VMC 3/0 cone cut worm hooks, scum frogs, yo-zuri hard baits and minnow hard baits, various colored slider grubs for crappie with 1/8oz red or chartreuse heads.

So far this season I havent been able to catch on like i did last year, I usually use the Sliders to catch onto the colors bass are hitting and go for the bigger ones with the same smaller ones are hitting. This method worked with great success all over my region, though i haven't had much time to hit the local private ponds.

But with a renewed license i'm back out and wetting a line. Though last year i landed the biggest on my record around 12-13lbs on a scum frog, post up whats working for you, and where you're fishing it

So what's your techniques, favorite lures, your sworn by hooks, colors, presentations, bait selections ect. let's get this going for the patterns hitting Virginia lakes, rivers, and ponds to help us all catch that keeper!
