If I read what he said correctly he said he THOUGHT it was the fuel pump until he took it out and hooked it up to power and it works. I guess that would mean it is not wired correctly?

WishIHadaSilvia is right about me thinking it needed a fuel pump. My laziness got the best of me when I just went ahead and ordered a new one from www.expressfuelpumps.com before I even took it out to test it. Reason being because it was running perfectly fine before hand.

Story is, one morning I went out to the car to start it up to get it warm for the ride to work. Went back inside for about 10min, came back out and it was cut of. I tried to get it to start up again but no go. Yes it has gas. No, it does not have any power going to the pump. Yesterday (my day off) I decided to install the new fuel pump because I was bored, and made sure it was wired correctly. Still nothing. I have also replaced the EGI and EGI Pump relays with ones that are BRAND NEW from the Nissan dealership.


So, to clarify, you got the fuel pump to turn on, but you weren't able to start the car, is this correct?

Kinda. When I got it to turn on, it was uninstalled and out of the car. I hooked it to a 12v source and BOOM, it worked. I installed the new fuel pump yesterday for the hell of it so the car will come with an extra, PERFECTLY FINE, Walbro 255. I can prove that it works


Also, you wouldn't happen to be interested in a Foxbody LX 5.0 hatch, would you?

Not a big fan of the hatches but please send me some pics and info and I will definitely think about it.

FUEL ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED!....but...
the car won't turn over... tested the starter and it is fine. So my educated guess would be either the lock cylinder or the ignition switch. Car has power and fuel pump now cuts on. Just won't turn over.

IT'S ALIVE!!!
So I finnally got the car running... and running strong if I might add. Solved the fuel issue the other day and solved the ignition issue today. I also installed a push button start while I was at it for shits and giggles. With that said... i'm not so much desprete to sell it to get a daily, because I now currently have one:D So for those of you that have been watching the thread you will notice that the price has gone back up. Not to the original price I had in my previous thread, but it has gone up none the less.

Hood, roof, and hatch are all painted black. Original color of the car is the redish-maroonish that is on the body.

Car is currently in about 94850394509 peices. Im re-doing some of the motor. I just put a new headgasket on and a low mileage head with some 10mm ARP head studs. Also turbo is going to be rebuilt and the valve cover paint matched to the car. As of now im not interested in selling or trading the car. Infact, after I get it put back together i'll probally end up keeping it. I've put way to much time and money in this car and it's almost perfect.
