my camaro SS got hit a while back with minor damage, fully covered

-the ss hood has 2 small cracks in it
-radiator mount is fractured due to impact
-front fascia is ripped in 2 spots

i talked to giecko and they gave me an estimate of $1200, however i estimated 3k

I was reccomended to see Mi Car because they do good work, so i just got back from there

guy turned out to be a huge fbody/corvette fan and was very good at what he does. gave me a tour to show some work hes done.

we discussed the damage and he said he wouldnt have an SS riding around with a repaired hood so he said he was going to call giecko and say he couldnt repair and get me a slp $1200 OEM hood.

needless to say im pretty stoked about this especially that he will give me back my old hood for sale.

been there a couple times myself and have nothing but good things to say bout his shop and himself although his old silverado is kinda ugly imo ... hes costly coming out of pocket but very worth it

i roomated with his soon in college and yes, he does have an affection for fbodies and corvettes.

yeah i went there a few years ago. the guy seemed very knowledgable but it sure was pricey. thats ok though, i'm sure he does good work.
