axles, and possibly some engine mounts, good ones. put a new clutch in it if you have the money since the engine is already out

yea b16b ? or B16a

im gonna guess A but maybe not...

either way it should say if it comes with everything needed to do the swap, of course you may have to go get little things to make it work.

Yes Ricky they do. It is from the Civic Type R. It is basically a destroked Integra Type R motor.

I bet it is a b16a. I think the b16b is more expensive than the JDM C5.

Hmmm......

there is no such thing as a jdm c5. there is no c5 in japan. it is just b18c.

this is just my opinion, but if you're going to spend all that money i'd go with an itr motor, b16b's have 0 torque and make less power....but if you want to spend more to go slower, it's your car...

edit, this thread is old as hell, fuck my life.

If you don't mind me asking where are you getting your b16b swap, I am in the market to get a swap done and I am pricing packages. Please pm me back with the link or phone number where I can do some research too.

Thanks

y was this brought back from the dead? oh well

civici2ner98: hit me up on PM and i can tell you what you want to know and get a swap for you.

about the B16b it is a nice motor for what it is it is still a small ass 1.6 revs into the atmosphere though very fun to drive but has no bottom end at all. No the B16b dosn't cost more than a B18cR or a C5 (which i think are all OVERPRICED! for what you get). To the guy that said should have bought an Si your on crack that is a heavy fucking car i have taken a lot of wiehgt outta the car and it is still heavy and it comes with the weakest B series EVA absolutly NO bottom end at all. Do what you want its your car and your money.

b16b awsome power band not too much power below hmmm 4grand. after vtec it pulls hard as hell. sounds good i think im the only one that is actully running one(well that i have met) so its different. and you can eliminate that no low end problem with some camsand tuning. but when your racing your not racing at 4000 rpm so....... im gonna run toda b's besides all motors lack somewhere be it top end or bottom end thats why you have to mod and tune it. you should not get it because i like being the only one ive seen with one. afte rteh swap you gt to hear "ive never seen one can you pop your hood" i think i get that eveytime i go out. it has 10-15 less hp than a b18c5 and 20-25 less than a b18cR not bad for for being 2/10's of a ltr smaller. higher compression. better cams than itr you can rev to the moon and it revs fast as hell. i rev mine to 9 grand all the time reved to 9500 once my ecu has a rev limiter there. so.... overall good motor and its different from everyone else.

nutsack on the board has one.

as far as popping the hood to look at it, it looks just like an itr motor...as for the cams being "better" than a c5, if i'm not mistaken the b16b head is virtually the exact same head as a b18c5.

i'm not attacking you, just stating my opinions.

CTR intake cam has longer duration:

Integra Type-R(USDM Spec)
Int-240 dur. / 11.5mm lift
Exh-235 dur. / 10.5mm lift

Civic Type-R And Integra Type-R(JDM Integra Type R Spec)
Int-243 dur. / 11.5mm lift
Exh-235 dur. / 10.5mm lift

the jdm b18cR cams are the same but usdm the intake cms is still slightly different.
