So a friend of mine ordered a Carbon Fiber hood for his 91 hatch. he has the JDM front-end conversion on it... his hood came in yetesrday and we tried to put it on, and it hangs over the bumper about 6 inches... we checked the invoice and it said "94-01 JDM Type r integra"
we were like what the fuck??? he tried returning it today and that chick that drives the pink 4door integra said "it should fit and ALL JDM front-end conversions are the same, I've been in the business for 7 years i know what i'm talking about" -Dumb BItch- we even showed her it was longer that the front clip and still deny refunding his money.
Come on man... 7 years in the business and your telling me that a jdm civic ef9 front end and jdm integra type r front end are the same? and you saw the hood does not fit and wont refund the money? Its all common FUCKING sense we ordered a jdm ef9 CF hood and u gave us a Jdm dc2 CF hood....

Anyone could of told you not to do business with them. All you'd have to do is look at the cars infront of their shop and you'd know not to.

Yeah that shop would have told you that it would fit. Because this is coming from the same folks who had civic headlights on a MX3 with the ugly ass red and leopard print paint w/ spinners.

Damn, about time! About a year ago, I was driving by DCR, and decided I wanted to get some Skunk2 coilovers and Tokico Shocks for my teg. I'm from NJ, and didn't know any shops around here. I go there order it and pay in full! He said it would be there in 3 days. I kept calling and driving by the shop for about 2 weeks, and they kept giving me the run around. He moved to Va Beach.blvd and same shit, he said they ordered the wrong springs and that they were for the civic coupe yada yada. So after talking to him he still woudn't give me a refund, so I just called up my credit card company and cancled the payment, and they opened an investigation. I got my full reimbursment just took a while. But I would never do buisness with Dee or costal customs/360 Customs what ever there called anymore!
Advice, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!

I'm am the NEW and part owner of 360 Customs. We are not affiliated with Coastal Customs or Dee. We bought the shop August 06 and We bring a new and improved attitude to customer service. We offer a wide variety of parts for all types of cars. We are here to provide parts and service with not just a new name. Refering to the comment made about the JDM hood. We would not just give a refund to beat someone out their hard earned money. The hood was purchased and taken home, and tried to install.(They should have inspected it before they left the store.) The install did not work and they bent the corner of the hood. They then tried to return it saying it was like that. I still have the hood in my shop because I offered to sell it for the so they can recoup some money. All the we ask is to be given a chance and not lumped im with DEE and Coastal Customs. Thank you from Marvin and Adebiyi, the NEW Owners of 360 Customs.

Marvin and Adebiyi are good people. I can vouche for them having worked with Marvin before. The shop is now under a lot better management than it has been in the past. They work hard to give you the best prices on their products and if they don't have it, they will find it. This sounds like a complaint from a customer that failed to inspect the product before taking it home and then damaged the product trying to install it. If you damage any product like that you know it pretty much becomes unsaleable because remind you this hood was for a JDM conversion not a normal USDM car so only a few cars will be able to use this hood. When you damage something like that it only makes resale that much harder if possible at all. Hopefully, the hood will sale and some of the money will be recouped to the customer. So don't get 360 Customs confused with Coastal Customs they are legit, they work hard to take care of you and provide a quality product and service. This was a isolated incident were their hands were tied.

& Dee's wife (the one who drives the pink integra) still works there...
I know it's messed up they won't refund the hood, but you should've known better than ordering anything "JDM" from that shop...

The whole JDM kit?? did you see the fuckin car?? he has Jdm Front End for a 88-91 Cvic Hatch EF9..... you gave him a DC2 Carbon Fiber Hood.....
And Please tell me how a JDM KIT looks like on a EF hatch.. ohh, thats the 88-91 bodystyle in case you dont know...
For all you that knows Julio from Ultraspeed, the white hatch he had is the one my boy has.....

ok, if you ordered the wrong hood, you need to eat it. if a corner was broken, you need to work something out with the customer, not just say have a nice day. its very eay to get a bad name in this business.
you have a storefront.

You are going to lose money the first couple years of business, thats how it goes, but you need to build clientel and a good name. You cannot get on an internet forum bashing.
If you told him all JDM hoods are the same, you are liable to take it back. He attempted to install the part you gave him with your word given that it would fit on his car. You owe him money.

Jay..why can we not get an answer to my original question? I just want to see for myself how this carbon fiber hood is bent? Perhaps its a metal hood with a carbon sticker or something?

What is it about the automotive aftermarkert indusrty that likes to attract shops that have poor customer service.
If the hood was delievered to the shop first it should have been noticed during a visual inspection that it was indeed not the correct hood. If that had happened there would not even be an argument over what condition the hood is in.

Thats like selling a shattered glass window, with the title " like new, easy fix" If its shattered its shattered, which by my terms means more than one piece, usually lots of pieces, i was contemplating doing business with you still, but after this huge lie, i hope that blind people dont even do business with you

Hmmm, probably wouldn't have happened if you all had gotten them the right part. Sure, the customer did make an error by not checking it out more thoroughly, but they also trusted you all to get the right part. For all we know you could have just given them the hood without an invoice, shipping box, or anything that could have told them it wasn't for the car they were going to put it on. I don't even want to mention the fact that people seem to be working there who don't know what they are talking about, but I am going to anyway. What happens when you get some 17 year old kid in there who knows nothing about cars and the person behind the counter gives them some invalid information that ends up ruining their car? Are you going to say it's that kid's fault for listening to one of your employees?

I got my hood from ebay, $300 shipped and fit perfect.
But about the shop:
They became liable when the woman said that it would fit anything with a JDM front end.
Shop says it will fit->customer tries to install realizes they took the short bus to school->customer deserves money back regardless of what someone talking out of their ass says.
Report this to the better business bureau, they will let the shop know what's up.
www.bbb.org <-they can do more than most of us can.

If he ordered a carbon hood for a different car and you gave him the wrong one. That is still your fault even if he did damage it. Because he would not of damaged the hood if it was the one he was supposed to have. That is a crappy way to look at customer service. This guy should already have his money or the right hood already that would be good customer service.Instead of robing this guy of his money.

that really sucks. how do you order the wrong part for a customer, insist its the correct part and then refuse to take it back.
i believe that its even worse that someone that has worked at a shop for 7 years and is married to a shop owner does not know the diffreence between the two front ends. thats just horrible.
anyone browsing any import internet forum for 5 minutes could find out that they are not even close.. actually fuck that, just by hearing intergra compared to civic, that should be enough to know it is wrong.

before i knew what i was doing with cars i came in with a head and asked what type it was. I wanted to know if it was a DOHC VTEC (for a honda, dont joke) and they said "that isn't DOHC. it was stamped pr-3 and they said that meant it was SOHC VTEC. I thought i had the wrong part for 4 months. Luckily i never got rid of it.

+1, how hard is it to order what the man wanted? It kills me how people get dicked at all these shops, and that none of the shops take responsibility for their lack of competance. If your distributors are that bad, then you need to make a change, because it is a direct reflection on you and your shop;) The carbon fiber was bent? That quote right there tells me alot about you and your shop.
Not to mention, i know i could visually tell the difference between an integra hood, and an ef hood! Sounds to me like ya'll tried/are trying to dick this customer. I'm sure that you will not stay open long, big surprise there:rolleyes: It really amazes me how people around here run businesses. 360 Customs...what a joke...
oh, and LOL at Dee, and the xtreme imports, coastal customs,etc. That guy was one shady ass character, along with everyone involved. Talk about shortcuts and shitty work/service/cars/etc.:rolleyes:

I bet the hood was "shattered" because...
...it was the wrong hood. ta-da. that's what happens when the wrong hood is applied to the wrong car. in my job, you can't return microprocessors after they've been opened/installed. however, if i sell you the wrong microprocessor for the wrong socket and you bend the pins on the processor because it doesn't fit right, i will return it - it's my fault for selling you the wrong part.

I'm sure it would of been more then 'a couple bucks'. The OP is more then likely capable of installing it himself, thats not an excuse for 360 not to refund him.

Either way... The right part should of been ordered in the first place and non of this would of happened!!! GAWD how hard is it to say "whoops my bad" and take responsibility for ur mistake....we all make mistakes... own up to it!!!! i mean think about it....
1 happy customer tells his/her friends and then they tell thier friends....and so on.... which equals to more business and more money in ur pocket.....

wow i remember i used to work for ingred and dee and i hated how when you ordered parts they say oh it'll be two weeks BS!!!!! they get em with in a week and they sat around the shop and conned people into paying more money god im glad i quit soon as i found out
