Description: I bought this car with no engine in it. the previous owner brought it to VA from southern California with 90000 some miles, did an oil change and didnt put oil back in it.....:rolleyes: ( i have a copy of the original TITLE, DMV took the real one. so now its a BN VA title just last month!!) to prove it.
BN 10/07 inspection
This is the most desired MR2 MK2 GEN II because it is the lightest from facory.. (I.E. HARDTOP manual windows, manual locks, steering, ect...)
car hasnt been wrecked and no rust anywhere... repainted within 5 years., practically flawless paint, NO DENTS! never wrecked...
I had a wrecked mr2 with 140,000 miles, ran fine, stripped the engine to the crank.... professionally honed cylinders, lapped/seated valves, built it in September
New Gaskets everywhere,
new Timing kit, water/oil pumps
brand new EXEDY clutch and throw out bearing,
NEW SS Autochrome stainless 4-1 header 2 1/2" back mid pipe.
New UNORTHODOX aluminum underdrive pulley.. (a real power increase)
2 new toyota motor mounts.
The motor went together and in the car ... slowly... started second try, No leakage of any kind!:D After finally adjusting the distributor right it ran smooth.
I took a long time to break it in, and have had not a single problem/ this car for a non-turbo really rolls, :D
JBL door speakers, i plan to keep my cd player
I put Turbo leather seats, and Turbo shifter and boot/knob
i have the bronze rims, but you gotta find your own!!! sorry
Miles: 900 on engine 98000 on body and trans.
Price: $5000 or else ebay!!
