LSD - "The most obvious way to tell, is the presence of a big orange sticker on the side of the differential that says VLSD.... " from nico

as for the ABS, when equipped, there is a light in the dash cluster that comes on when you start your car. i can't remember if it says ABS or not. there's also a large block in the engine bay, i think on the passanger side, that has many brake lines attached.

To check for vlsd, jack the rear of the car up and spin one tire. If the other spins the same way...vlsd...if it turns the opposite way, then you have an open diff. To check for abs, when you slow down you should be able to feel the pedal pulsate if you have abs. Your price is a little high tho man. Real clean car though...good luck.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! Admitting to my automotive naivity, I don't personally do any work on the car.
I don't mind paying to have the maintenance done right so I defer all mechanical tasks to my Nissan guys at London Bridge Auto.

If you want to know if it has ABS post a picture of the engine bay and I or someone will tell you...if it has ABS it has a VLSD...so that would answer at least one question, and hopefully two.

thats what i was figuring, but couldn't find any FAQ on it anywhere.

I defer all mechanical tasks to my Nissan guys at London Bridge Auto.

:thup: on london bridge auto. I wouldn't take any of my cars to any other shop in hampton roads.

i sold mine for right around the same price. but this guy needs to come down in price. me and charles both had suspension and other things done to it.

No thanks on the CL. I'd take a stock/stockish honda. I can always use a beater. I already drive an AMG mercedes and don't want anything else expensive to fix.
