Trip to get my new motor..... here are the pics.
I was using slammed sentras car, which i was able to grab a trailer hitch and trailer from steve, who also has a sentra.
first pic: filling up the air, i noticed a feathery friend about 3 feet away from me as i heard a brushing sound in the grass. low and behold it was fog horn leg horn.

next, this is the sentra and the trailer, which actually drove fine. it was a lil slower, but barely noticable.

after the biggest pain in the ass, 2 ppl getting the motor on the trailer, and a few cuts and bruises, it's up there, nicely secured.

WTF i get no credit for this!?!?!?! thats my car used, damnit. hehe im sure it was alot slower pulling that thing...my car has no torque to begin with.
so if i was in sts and wasnt running my tires then i could drop a 95 325is motor in and still be in the same class?

You can swap between the same car if they are both in the same class. He can swap engines/trans from any accord in the same year range/class. If the that 95 325is motor came from the same year range and is also classed the same as you then yes you can swap it in. THe same ussually applies to others classes as well. I thought you had a 325is.

b/c a H22 costs a good $2000-2500 or more. i paid $350 for everything you see there. plus i wanted to stay in the same class. if i put an h22 in there, i'd be in street mod and wouldn't be able to be competitive at all unless i dumped a load more money in other places as well.

this is from the list...
DSP BMW 2002 ti & tii (all) Feb-2000
DSP BMW 3 Series (16V NOC) Feb-2000
DSP BMW 325 (all) Feb-2000
DSP BMW Bavaria Feb-2000
now if the car you have, and the motor from the car you want are on the same line, then you can stay in the same class, and it's legal.

From my understanding you can only switch items from the same chassis. In other words E36 stuff can be swaped into another slightly different E36 if that car is in the same class. E36 engine into a E30 is what you are discussing and that would not be allowed (or only allowed in SM).

SM is getting crowded. Jerry will be in SM now because the SM pax is actually better then the BSP pax.
