[757] Lee's Tires

I went up to Lee's Tires a few weeks ago to get new tires put on the car I recently bought. The tires that were on it were in HORRIBLE condition, I mean the tires were all frayed and constantly had to have air put in them since they leaked. Needless to say, on the phone they said they had the tires... When I got there they quoted me a decent price for 4 Toyo Proxes 4s, but didn't have them in stock. They had to have someone drive to the other location and get them, which took approximately 3 hours.

When the tires finally arrived I got an attitude from the bitchiest girl ever who was yelling at me about how bad condition the tires were in and why I didn't notice. I proceeded to tell her that I obviously noticed since I brought the car there to get 4 new tires, she just snickered in disgust and rolled her eyes. A few minutes later she calls me back and gives me more of an attitude about riding on a flat and how I filled it back up, I never once rode on a flat in that car and always carry a few tire gauges on me and quarters in case I need to fill up.

After 4 hours of waiting they are finally finished and I am ready to go in to get an alignment. The guy puts the car up on the small lift and says that they can't align my car because the frame was bent. I called the bullshit and took it to Bert's, who was able to align it, confirmed the frame was in fine condition and was not altered in any way, shape, or form. What was wrong was that one coilover wasn't adjusted correctly and Lee's was to lazy to see what was wrong and didn't have the proper equipment. I knew I couldn't trust that place the minute I saw that little gremlin dude sitting behind the counter.

haha i work at tune up plus on warwick and this lady's tire flew off as she was passing the shop, almost took out a hrt bus too. one of our techs ran down there and gave her a buisness card lol when he came back he said she told him she just got the car worked on at lee's tires.

Yea Fuck Lee's Tires!! I Bought Rims and Tires from them they put them on my car. The next day my front tire blew out. The dam inside of the tire looked like it was dry rotted. They basically told me they wouldn't do anything about that.They sell old ass dry rotted tires with the rim tire packages. I spent mad money there they showed me shitty customer service. JUST ORDER OFF THE INTERNET FROM A WELL KNOWN COMPANY. WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM PEOPLE AGAIN.

I was about to get an alignment from them but the guy told me that I had all these suspension problems so I thought I better go w/my gut and take it to Berts. Berts told me there was no problem so Lee Tires is shady in my book! Plus I always order tires online now just because of the savings vs retail stores.

I haven't been to Lee's tires in *several* years. I went there one time to have two tires mounted. I was told the guys were on break in the back, and it would be a few minutes. The two young guys came out and a very strong odor of marijuana rolled out with them! I am dead serious! I actually let them change the tires, just to see how they did. They actually got the tires mounted, so I can only assume they were experienced with working under the influence.

I went there one other time to get an alignment. They said they couldn't do them because the alignment guy wasn't in. I hung around talking with one guy who told me the alignment guy was locked up for awhile.:) He didn't say why though.

I buy tires from tirerack and have a guy on little creek over by circuit city mount and balance them for me.

i brought my srt4 there, they said i needed to buy some chamber bolts to get the aligment back to stock. i said why would dodge make it where you could'nt bring the alignment back to stock. he said because you have upgraded rims, tires and suspension. i then told him everything on the car was stock from the factory. so go and align the fucking car and stop try and bullshit me. he aligned it and it was fucked up. i went somewhere's else and they did it just fine.

so THATS what was wrong with everybody there at Lee's...they were all high!

I took my old rex to them to have an alignment done. The guy took about an hour to do it, and I had to look at the rest of the clientel- a guy with 22's that wanted a 'tach installed so he could race his automatic....two fat ass chicks that were looking to get 20's on a set of 16 in rims ( I don't know how that works)...

overall, it was the worst tire experience ever. Except for Firestone down on Military. They took 4 hours to put on the tires to my old truck. 4 FUCKING HOURS!

^ LOL. Dude, I paid firestone (military) to align my thunderchicken in high school. Got it back and the steering wheel was still crooked. They said I had to get the steering wheel fixed. Two weeks later my tires were BALD from not being aligned. Took it back and bitched so they realigned it and the steering wheel was straight. But they refused to give me new tires.

Well to add to the list of complaints, I took my old civic there because i didn't have the key to take the rims off so they used the method where they bash it in and use a tool to take it out. They garunteed the rims would come off looking just as they did before they touched it.

Well that wasn't the case, i sat there ( like anyone one who loves their car would when they are getting work done by someone they don't know ) to watch every single movement he made, by the time he f***** two rims up I complained, and lee's fat a$$ came around and told me, "if you don't like the work then you should carry your a$$ somewhere else and get it done, and i'll just leave you right here with two tires off your car"

There was no way I was gonna stomp him and the other machanics a$$ by myself so I took it up the a$$ and left.

So if you want your whip f'd up take it to the pro's "Lee's tire's" His son will get in his power ranger gear and make new rims appear on your car JUST like he did in the commerical.

My complaint to them is that they were charging me valve stems for $20 bucks each!! Reason because its very rare to get this and that he has to make a profit off it. Really thats what he told me and my dad. Me and my dad were like wtf?

I know my valve stems are rare because I got 8 yr old rims from japan.

Thankfully, Boss custom wheels hooked me up.

I went there about a year ago and bought 24s for my old truck. First off it took forever to get them on the truck and when I finally drive off with them they didnt balance them. I took it right back and they balanced them, but I was still getting a bad vibe from them. I took it back about 4-5 times in a span of 2 weeks and they still couldn't get it right. They said maybe its your truck...it was a brand new 2006 F-150 with less than 1k miles on it. I said maybe its your machine. They ended up switching out the tires for different ones and it still didn't fix it. I took it down to a Performace Rims in Suffolk and they balanced them with no problem.

i took my prelude there to get a key for my rims, and while i waited in the back watching them work on my car i hear a big commotion and i turned my head and some skinny white dude was screaming at one of the mechanics at lee's (older white guy, kinda looks like a crackhead with a walkie talkie) and next thing i know BAM!!!!! knocked the shit out of the dude...OMFG i cried laughing when he got on his walkie talkie and said "code red code red, all workers to the parking lot" and they just looked at him and laughed too....they didnt have the key but did offer to take the locks off for 50 per rim on a 4 lug car, and i offered to fuck the guys wife who said that dumb shit..to make a long story short they gave me the price, i said do it, they said pay inside.......skrrrrrr!!!! Fuck Lees, the most that could happen is the same guy approach me and get knocked out again.

needed one new tire, called ahead, they said they would go get it from the warehouse. i got there 45 minutes later, they put it on and i was out the door in 20 minutes.
