Then why not just stay out of the thread? I'm probably one of the biggest supporters on Langley Speedway on this site, and I'm out there every week. I know the people at the track, and most of the people know me. It's a fun thing to do, and the track doesn't profit at all from doing it. If you don't like it, just don't come.

Maybe im just being optimistic that someday Langley would reduce the entry fees at events for the racers/stunt riders.
On planet earth, if a business makes no profit, it goes bankrupt and closes down unless its some sort of a non-profit charitable organization which I highly doubt Langley is.
I would like to help bring more business to the only race track in this entire area but its got to be a mutual plan which i believe they don't really care to hear about.

I cant believe you r bitching about the entry fees , i guess you will be one of the guys getting caught by the cops street racing , spending 1500.00 in leagal and fines not to mention maybe losing your car . Langley might not be exacty what you want , but its the best we have without getting any ticets
Quit bitching or just dont come and watch

Your both right. I don't race. I stunt motorcycles--its something that actually takes "skill" unlike racing around in an oval. :beat: :beat:

LANGLEY SPEEDWAY - You have a PM
I think the cars should be lined up by times tonight with a 1-2 car length advantage to the outside lane.
Any one have any comments?
Please post them.
I am with Metrodude. I watch the races almost every week and I think a 1.5 car length advantage should be to the outside lane.
Best of luck to you all tonight I will be in stands talking crap about everyones line. (I have become the John Madden of Langley driveing..... always states the obvious.)

the car...dom was trying to keep it out...you need lots of torque to keep four 235 wide tires spinning

your car... but I was driving.... where's the fortitude in that?
Honestly, I was worried I was going to wreck the damn car. It stepped out way easier than I expected. Once I was in it, I was suprised at how smooth and controllable the slide was. however, at that point the car had slowed to a point that it wouldn't make enough power to hold it out. I tried to give it some gas and she was too low in the revs. So I bogged it out until I got it straight. I wasn't about to downshift the car and disrupt the chasis any more.
The suspension is stock with a rear sway bar.
The tires were Goodyear ALL SEASON M+S!!
I still ran a 21 second lap and didn't wreck the car. I'm pretty confident that if I had good rubber on the car, I could have won. The closest race in A-main was the Black Mustang and I. I was at his rear tire when he crossed the finish line. I screwed the launch and spun all four tires. It was an awesome race and I look forward to doing it again.
