If I could sell it with the title it would be sold in street AND/OR race trim and I'd be asking for allot more than 3500.......................;)

GL with the sale, and a great price for what the bike has. Can I ask why your selling it?

Why is there no title??

Why is there no title??

Because I don't have it.

Race/track bikes are sold all the time without titles (bill of sale only). My 1995 GS500 doesn't have a title either. ;)

any way this bike could be street legal?

It is for me...............but again; if I sold it in street trim I would be asking for more. Then you COULD have the title and it would be street legal for you as well.

what do you mean by that?

CBR600F4

It means that I owe more than the asking price for track trim (not sure), so that's why the bill of sale vice the title.

If you wanna buy it in street trim than I can find out the pay off and you can have it for that price.

well obviously i'd need to do some shit before i can ride it on the street, which at 17, takes time. i have no license so i have plently of time to make it street legal. but i guess you dont really like money and dont wanna sell it. nevermind, thanks

good luck on your sale

I'm keeping the stock plastics (they're on the bike right now) until the bike gets sold. After that you can make an offer on 'em. Everything is perfect except for my upper.

So what you are doing is selling a bike that you do not legally own...Thus if you stop making payments the bike will then be repo'ed. Or my guess is that you would report it stolen and the insurance would pay the bike off.

Huh?

That's what a bill of sale is for.........................

So you can track it, just not have it street legal.

Hmmmmmm......................

I do believe I said that already; yup, sure did!

And just so you know, a bill of sale DOES cover both the sellers and buyers ass. Just like when I sold my gun.............there aren't any titles for a gun; so I made up a bill of sale (2 copies) and we both signed each one with license numbers, address's, yadda yadda yadda...........

That way if he decides to go on a shooting spree 20 years from now my ass is still covered.

Hell................I almost forgot:

When I bought my 05 rr down in South Carolina at Curry Chainsaw I didn't even GET a title for it.

Just; yup, you guessed it: a bill of sale. I bought it for the track ONLY and didn't need it registered or insured.

..........You will NEVER buy a car from a business without out a title.... You will as well get a bill of sale and if the title is not availible at the time of sale it will be mailed to you.

Not true..................there are TONS of track only cars out there that are bought and sold without titles and with bills of sale only.

I just told you that I bought my 05 rr with a bill of sale only................;)

Doesn't the bank own the bike as long as you still owe on it?

Let me get the VIN and your home address. Cause I am sure it is not a clean bike by any stretch of the imagination. Pretty much anybody that buys this is an idiot. Not trying to shit on your thread but I mean damn.

So if I chose to sell my 1995 GS500...............how could I? Seeing as how it never had a title or anything..................or my 2005 600rr. I mean yeesh. If these dealers are selling bikes without titles and only bills of sale I think you should go ahead and report them to the cops or something.............

Ok... here is my question.

What are you going to do with the title once you get finished paying the bike off?

1BDAZM
04-04-2006, 09:21 PM
YOU BETTER REPORT THEM....... IF NOT PUT THE INFO UP THEN AGAIN IF YOU ARE NOT AFRAID OF THE TRUTH. THE BIKE WILL NEVER BE PAID FOR BY HIM, I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT. HERE IS THE NUMBER TO THE VA MOTOR VEHICLE DEALER BOARD 1 877 270 0203
FOR THAT MATTER LET THE PERSON TAKE OVER THE PAYMENTS THAT IS LEGAL TOO
