We are debating on either this coming weekend of the 1st or the weekend of the 8th...which ever date is best for everyone! Thinking about either someones house/Mt.Trash, but we are open to suggestions as well.

Probably end up doing a BBQ/Photoshoot type of meet.

right on man, what was the part you were talking about that will fix my wheel issue? I'de like to go ahead and pick it up. I'm going to try and have the car aligned tomorrow to see if it helps, but hopefully they can still do it right considering considering the way the tire is sitting.

OK its a go for this weekend on Sat. I figured we would start at Mt. Trashmore. Anyone have a time that is best with them?

All we need now is what time is best for everyone and then we can decide who wants to bring what!

So post a time that is best for you and something you will bring to the BBQ. I will bring the grill so that is covered.

Yah even if your DSM isn't up and running still would love for everyone to come out and shoot the shit. We are going to get a DSM chapter for VA started up.

I was a member of the tidewater chapter of the BMWCCA, we had meets once a month, what a blast. I think DSM meets would be alot more fun though.

Ok so everyone that came to the meet has decided to make a sub division for Virginia 2gnt eclipse/talons.

Everyone in Virginia with a 95-99 Eclipse and 95-98 Talon running the 420A motor is welcome and encouraged to join.

We are currently building a community as we speak.

The website layout is being decided now and this is what we have to choose from now.

Remember this is only the front page (Splash Screen) and not the entire site.

you used my name SWEET! either one is a good front page. I like the one with all of our cars on it. The motor one would be sweet if it was a turbo on it. you couldnt combine the two in any way. I like the page lay out of the first one if thats the main concern.

I like the first one J... That pic of the motor is sweet! Once i get the cutter together at work... Software Security issues, I will work on a logo that combines the 2gnt and VAM2GNT... I'll post up once I get it done!

We just had our 3rd meet yesterday! I should have the pics up by later on this evening.

All 1st and 2nd Gen Eclipses are welcome to come to our meets. We are planning on doing some video footage and a big photoshoot here pretty soon before it gets really cold.

The amount it would cost to replace the motor with a 6 bolt in the unlikely event of a 7 bolt crankwalking is less than it is for you to build your engine for boost, or better yet, a turbo kit, then you still dont have awd.

*I dont have a problem with 420a cars. I used to own one, i go to their meets, i have a problem with misrepresentation of facts.*

I say this with the most respect possible, I had more fun with the NT guys than i did at the 4g63 dsm meets, all the guys there were cool, If im invited im coming to the next one too, (unless its this sunday, i work though i usually dont on sundays.)

We will have our own SOVADSM.com very shortly up and running so I will be sure to give you heads up on when the site is up and running.

Then I can post the date and times and what we have planned for cetain meets on our site. Probably going to end up doing a lot of highway driving vid footage for the next meet. Gonna try and get some good shots for a end of the year compilation video I will be working on.


Thats about it..thanks to everyone that came out. Hope to see you all there again for the next one and hope we get more people to join in!

OK the site is up and functional, but far from done...but all you DSMers can join the forum and get registered and start coming to the meets. I think the next one will be NOV 20th...it will be an autocross meet actually. Gonna get some vid and pics. Should be a good time.
