31 inches.... ground to bumper... unless the bumper is modified then its ground to bottom of frame rails.

technically a bronco isnt considered a pickup truck and all passenger vehicles are 22 inches from the bumper to the ground. 99.99999% of cops just go by the truck law, although i have heard some horror stories. keep it on 38s or smaller, and dont drive like a fucktard, and you will be ok. and stay away from the beach.

In order to get truck tags by law, the vehicle must have a detached pickup bed. Broncos and blazers with truck tags technically shouldnt have them, but half the time at the dmv the lady has no idea wtf shes doing. Ive researched every aspect of it trying to find a loop hole to get some 44's on my f-150 with 60s under it. My friend tried to do the truck tags on the bronco and they didnt let him. Ive heard every scenario and every story. They havent been as strict lately. Just be prepared if you lift it to high, to get messed with at some point in time. Theres excursions running around on 39.5's that never get pulled, and theres yotas with 35s that get tickets all the time. Its pretty fucked up but its VA so what do you expect.
