Ok, here are the revised classes. There is a 3 car minimum per class. For example, if only 3 Corvettes register and they are different generations, they will be combined into one Corvette class. On the other hand, if we have 20 Z-cars or something show up, we would probably break up the class by generation and create extra classes to make it as fair as possible. Hope to see you all there!
Mopar - Pre-War Stock, A body, B body, E body, PT Cruiser, Neon, FWD, Viper, Pre-1968
GM - Pre-War Stock, F-body (1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen), G-body, 55-57 Chevy, Nova, Chevelle, Impala, Pre-1978 BOP, Corvair, Cadillac, GTO, Blazer/Jimmy
Ford - Pre-War Stock, Mustang (1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen, 5th gen), Shelby Cobra, Thunderbird, Bronco, Lincoln, Mercury
Jeep - CJ-TJ, Cherokee
Import - VW air cooled, VW water cooled, Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Mitsubishi/DSM, Z-car, British, BMW, Subaru, Exotic
Misc. - Kit cars, 4x4 truck, 4x2 truck, Street Rod, Race Cars, Kustoms, Under Construction

JDM - Just a few imports pre-registered at the moment. My phone and email have both been buzzing with people looking for info on the show though and I've got a number of verbal commitments for import registrations, but only a handful of checks. I suspect a lot of people are waiting to see how the weather is, but I am getting one or two registrations in my mail box every day. Pre-registration is $15 vs. $20 day of show, so if you're planning on showing, it's worth pre-registering. Makes things go smoother for us organizing things day of too.
sircrx - We cover a little bit of everything - domestic, import, cars, trucks, bikes, racing, tech, shows, etc. Our coverage has favored domestics in the past because we got more participation from domestic dominated clubs and advertisers. Our goal is to keep coverage balanced though and since we've been seeing more interest from the import crowd you'll continue to see more coverage leaning that way.
Part of the reason we're giving all class winners the opportunity to have their car featured in the magazine is to give us a standing library of nice cars to feature in future issues so we don't have to scramble on deadline to find a car that will balance the issue. After the show we'll have plenty of nice cars on file for the next year, ready to be featured. So in a nutshell, if you win your class your car will be featured.
Dive - As soon as I have 3 or more Hondas and 3 or more Acuras registered the classes will be divided. Same goes for Toyota/Lexus/Scion, etc. And beyond that, if the Honda class gets huge and we have a bunch of S2000's in the class or something like that, we'll divide the class further.

So in the magazine there is imports in there?
Our basic formula is: An import story, a domestic story, a bike story, a tech article, some reader photos or contributions, classified ads, business directory, ads.
That's obviously an ideal world situation though and sometimes we can't do it all. From the beginning though our content has largely been determined by our readers feedback. The more support we get from the import crowd, the more import based features you're going to see.
As an example, here's our current cover:

id come out if it were gonna be running later than 5pm...

Yes there will be a food vendor on site with hot dogs, sausages, etc.

Only a couple DSM's pre-registered. I've received a lot of emails and phone calls from people planning on attending, but waiting to see what the weather does. The 10 day forecast is not calling for rain, so attendance should be good.

Thanks to everyone who came out despite the questionable weather. We had a good turnout despite the on and off rain, and had a really nice variety of cars. We had a good time today and hope everyone who attended did as well.
I'd also be interested in any feedback you might have regarding what you liked or didn't like about the show and what you might want to see changed for future events. Thanks again to everyone who supported the show.
