There are a few threads floating around about this show, I'll try to clear up any questions here. The classes have been modified and the updated list is below. Any specific questions you'd prefer not to post, you can PM me or email me directly as vasponger mentioned above.
Talon, your Porsche would be classed in exotic unless there were 3 or more Porsches registered. In that case the Porsches would be broken out into their own class. If we ended up with a lot of Porsches we would break them down even further by air cooled and water cooled, etc. But it really all depends on how many Porsches register.
1BDAZM, we've actually had a very favorable response to the show and are doing our best to make the event diverse and please as many people as possible.
We'll modify classes and anything else we see necessary along the way to make things as fair and as enjoyable to as many people as possible, but unfortunately we can't all bring a trophy home.
There is a 3 car minimum per class. For example, if only 3 Corvettes register and they are different generations, they will be combined into one Corvette class. On the other hand, if we have 20 Z-cars or something show up, we would probably break up the class by generation and create extra classes to make it as fair as possible. Hope to see you all there!
Mopar - Pre-War Stock, A body, B body, E body, PT Cruiser, Neon, FWD, Viper, Pre-1968
GM - Pre-War Stock, F-body (1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen), G-body, 55-57 Chevy, Nova, Chevelle, Impala, Pre-1978 BOP, Corvair, Cadillac, GTO, Blazer/Jimmy
Ford - Pre-War Stock, Mustang (1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen, 5th gen), Shelby Cobra, Thunderbird, Bronco, Lincoln, Mercury

Also, in addition to trophies, all class winners will be featured in a future issue of Octane Magazine. Bear in mind there will be a number of classes so the features will be spread out over the next year. Best in Show winner will be featured in November/December '05 with a guaranteed cover shot.

No, it's all good. I didn't mean for that to sound like a jab at you (edited). Just making a point that we're trying to accomodate as many people as possible, but it's impossible to please everyone.
Pre-war refers to WWII - meant for the antique guys.
The Red Bull girls MIGHT be there, but there is no planned bikini contest. We're expecting to see a really broad range of cars and people at the show and the bikini/wet-t/models sort of thing is one of those deals that is likely to offend as many people as it will please. That said, it is August and I'm sure there will be ample bikini tops and tank tops wandering the crowd for your viewing pleasure!
Looking forward to seeing you there.

So Pre-War refers to the owners of the cars, not the car? "Pre-war refers to WWII - meant for the antique guys."
Will AIK be open for business seeing as I have never been there I might give it a lap or two?
I know but it is keeping up to maybe more people will see it and show up....
Sorry but just had to be a dick

Pre-war means cars manufactured before WWII. A lot of their owners were too!
Yes, AIK will be open for business and running the karts all day...until 10 pm I believe.
If/when I get confirmation on the Red Bull girls, I'll post it and let everyone know. Until then, I'll ask all of my wife's friends to wear bikinis to the show!

I'll be there. Is there any way I can pre-register online?
Octane magazine needs to hire me as their photographer.

I've seen your photos posted ritz, very nice work. At the moment we don't have the workload to require a staff photographer and we routinely have more editorial than we have space to print. In the future, as we pick up more advertisers and the magazine grows in page count that may change.
If you're looking to get published to get your work out there and start building a portfolio though, I'd be happy to talk to you about using some of your photos.

Yes, you can enter as many vehicles as you want and there are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in every class. You'll need to be signed in and parked at the show before noon if you want your vehicles to be judged.
