Thats the idea. Offer "high end" shops discounted rent, they start attracting non ghetto pieces of trash. Add in extra officers to hassle the shit out of the ganstas that are so fucking cool that they hang out in the mall and then they stop comming around. The result? A mall free of ghetto pieces of shit with decent shops in it.

Patrick Henry did the same thing a few years ago when it started to turn into shit. Its a million times better now, just needs a few better stores in it.

It is a sad day. I used to spend at least $5 on games back in the day...and I would always stop in and play a game whenever I passed it.

Sucks about Lucas, too. An ex-g/f of mine used to work there, and they definitely had the best deals in the food court. Two landmarks gone forever.

Wow, I remember 1st going to Aladdin's Castle when I was 9. I use to beat the hell out of everyone in "UMK3", back then, the first "Ridge Racer" arcade was the shi*. I even remember Sega's "G-Loc" there.

haha agreed.... i talked w/ the "supposed" manager and he tried feeding me this bullshit that working there was a hobby of his and that he is mad rich and owns like a ferrari and all this bs. he was like these watches are garbage i have like 6 $5K rolexs...yeah right!!!

the castle will surely be missed, thats lots of time and prolly thousands of dollars spent there over the years

Honestly I think Military Circle mall has a better deal on shoes than lynnhaven... granted that you just might get your Nike Dunks' or Jordan's stolen as soon as you get to your car, but it's better now than it was previous years.


RIP Alladin's Castle. I'll never forget the Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter arcade days.
