anyone else's Cox Cable Internet going slow?
Mine's been going slow as fuck for the last few days, just seeing if anyone has had problems lately before I call and make a complaint

mine has always sucked
the ''web star'' cable modems blow,my old motorola one was great now i cant even leave aim online for over 3 hours without me coming home and finding me signed off

Mine was great and fine as usual. Never had a problem with their internet.
Their cable service on the other hand.

There are upgrades going on in the VB area most of which is going on during working hours to minimize service interuptions. This CAN affect your HSI service.
Try to do a speed test to see what your DL/UL speeds are. If they are not what your paying for, try to delete some of your cookies/temp internet files. If you have a router, un-hook it and run the CAT3/ USB directly into the NIC card. Test again. If the speeds are fine, but your computer still seems slow, it could be a slow server on the web sight you are using, or you computer might just be slow.
If the DL/UL speeds still suck, put in a service call.
